Blog Anniversary Post: Fashion 101

Happy 1st birthday to my blog! Yeaaaay! Since Jats Your Fashion Critique turned 1 today, I made the effort to compile some of my favorite outfit posts from and @ootdmagazine from Instagram (Girls! Follow them for more fashion posts! And for the boys, follow @ootdmen. ) for you guys to check 'em out and find your pegs for summer fashion wear. Who knows, maybe you could pull off those looks too! :)

Summer Inspirations:

A flowy mini dress AND a heart cut out at the back? Lovely! I love that print. ♥

For the not-so-girly girl type out there, You could pair your skater skirts with an Aztec midrib corset or a summer-y print to still have the summer vibe with you and add a leather vest or a chain necklace if you want it to be a little edgy. :)

Pastels, Floral and Studs? She did a great work! After so many eye-catching prints in bold colors, these cotton candy shades are perfect to feel a little breezy with the hot hot weather in the Philippines. For a sweeter look, accessorize with Flower crowns! I love how it complemented her shoes. :)
Where to buy flower crowns? Check 'em online. But I know sells flower crowns. :)

Okaaay, who's dying to have sneaker wedges? ME! It helps in adding height and it's so awesome. Haha, and the fab muscle tee...I've been seeing a lot wearing statement muscle tees, Almost all online shops are selling them especially the Jack Daniels print. :) Camouflage everywhere! (check my previous post: Hey There, Soldier) :)

And for those who planned their summer, flying out of the country cause the Philippines is burning hot...if you plan to go to somewhere cold,Check out that sweater with spikes! Awesommmmeee. It's from, and what hurts the I can't afford it! It's $47 dollars. Huhu, Poor me. Hmm, Moving on. Haha, It best goes with leather jeans! Two thumbs up!

Hope I helped you guys, and please continue to visit and view, This is the 20th post for the whole year, Sometimes, I get an ample number of page views but sometimes I get few but I still want to thank you, readers for putting a smile on my face. :) I'm sorry that I don't have a blog giveaway but this blog was built to share you my personal style so instead of a giveaway, today's post are fashion tips. Polished in Emerald Green

There are instances that the party that you might be attending, requires guests to wear conservative clothes, like this occasion that I've been yesterday. I was really bothered for a couple of days about what I was going to wear, It has to be formal but not showy. In fact;sleeveless is out of the topic as the attire in the invitation says. But thankfully, I found this simple white top but is embellished with gold glitters that gives a formal touch and I had the mullet skirt re-made for me in the dress shop because before it was just a plain maxi skirt that kinda looks dull when I pair it with the top. Hurrah for being resourceful but not wasting too much money. Plus it's 2013's lucky color, Emerald Green. ;)

I did my make up for the party and  I failed. Haha! Quality ruined. -.-

Hey there,Soldier!

What's in? Camouflage!! It's the latest fashion trend which I really like and based from the internet, I learned that Camo is highlighted as one of the most anticipated comebacks of the season, that's why I was really happy to score affordable military print leggings & iPhone case in GH. Haha! Cheap and trendy. *wink

The camo pattern is a bold statement, which means the other pieces in my outfit has to be very basic to let the print stand out...referring to my light denim polo and the plain tank top. :)

I also wanted to build up an edgy vibe and so I did by adding the spiked cuff, chain necklace, skull and cross bracelets. :)

Denim polo (Old Navy)
Black inner top (Forever 21)
Camouflage leggings& iPhone case (Greenhills)
Bracelets (Tomato)

Travel Diary: Bataan 2013

I really don't know how to start because this is my first time to do a travel post and I only have a few pictures. Haha. Actually, I was really planning to do an outfit post but unfortunately, I always have outfit shot issues, and that sucks for my part. :( Nevertheless, I  decided to still make a blog post to tell you how awesome and fun it is in Bataan. :)

My family and family friends stayed in Sunset Shores Villas for 3 days and we ought to make the best of it. At first,I was unsatisfied cause they don't have WiFi and I'll be dealing with that for days but later that day I found myself  having fun in the pool, and at the beach as well...even if I wasn't using Twitter,IG or blog hopping and such. Then at the end of the day, we realized we have tan skin colors but it's awesome that we have the we-don't-care-cause-we-had-fun attitude.  :)

Can you spot me in the pool? Haha. *Photo grabbed from Mommy. :)

The two photos above were during the sunrise, We woke up at 5:30 am just to watch it and strolled at the sandy beach. We also watched the sunset in the afternoon and it was beautiful. :">
We found some starfish, sea cucumber,  little jellyfishes but I only took a picture of the starfish because I find it cute and the other sea creatures creepy. Haha. :P

Henna tattoo on my leg. *IG Post...Follow me: @justjats :)

We went to see the turtles and rode the boat to go to the other island. I didn't take pictures there cause I was scared that I might drop my camera in the water. :D
(Nagdala pa ako ng camera, useless rin pala pag ako may hawak. Lol.)

We also went to Mt. Samat to see the memorial Shrine of Valour (Dambana ng Kagitingan) even though it was too hot. I was delighted when we saw the beautiful overlooking of Bataan. (Walang picture, kasi fail yung shots ko dun. :P)

In the evening we had a mini "pajama party" Thanks to our friends/bartenders, Ate Janine and her friend, for making us drinks all night. Those bottles are just some of the drinks. The photo on the upper right is not a candle, It's an alcoholic drink on fire/ flaming shot or whatever you call it. Haha. Then that's me after one cup of ladies drink. Pula ko na agad (Low quality), Haha. Look at the meme on my shirt, Nakakaloko lang. :P

On the last day of our trip we went to Subic Bay Freeport Zone, to eat lunch at Gerry's Grill before we go home. After eating we saw banana boats, jet skis and people trying the new Hydro-Jet surfing. We decided to try water sports and tried the Banana boat even though we don't have extra clothes anymore to use after that. Some were wearing pants, but still Go parin! :)

(Before the ride) *Photo grabbed from Ate Kate. :)

We were all shouting and laughing during the ride then it turned out that we all fell in the water because the boat turned upside down because the jet ski pulling the banana boat was too fast, At first others were scared, I was too because I thought I'm going to drown but I realized I was floating, then I remembered I was wearing a life vest. Haha. We all had an awesome experience, It was my first time in the kinda deep part of the sea. =))

As I've said earlier, I don't have much pictures to post but If someone tags me my photos,I'll try to post it here and update this blog post or maybe in my Facebook/IG account. Thank you for reading. So here's a blog post ender picture. Happy Easter Sunday, guys! Enjoy your summer. :)

Laced Up and Trying to Stay Classy

Sorry for the inconsistency of the place where I had my outfit shot taken, Haha. Anyway, This was before our Seniors Night. I was really aiming to have this Bitchy-fierce-party girl-look for the said event, a big thanks to my cousin slash bestie Aryanna for doing my make up, Mara's gorgeous sister,Ate Princess, for my curls and the prettiest among the monkey friends,Mara, for my nails!:) Just like I wanted. Yayyy. :):*

About the outfit, To dress sexy while still maintaining your classiness require lots of confidence and attention to detail. I chose the colors, black red and gold because it's really a girls "must-have" colors in their closet,it's the one that you could use at all times when you're trying to experiment on colors but still playing safe. You shouldn't limit yourself to light shades only. Rich hues of flattering colors can make a bold statement and can really bring out your natural beauty and I wore Black cause it gives off a sexy yet mysterious vibe, plus it's lace which helps a lot in keeping the classy look. (Okay, how many times have I said the word "sexy" Sorry naaa, Feeler lang. Hahaha. Pagbigyan na. :P)

Don't mind the shadow. Haha! :P

Might as well use makeup and jewelry to enhance and complement your clothing choices.:)

Here are my monkey friends that I love to death. :* :) I don't have pictures in the event place because my camera's battery unfortunately died. Yea, I know how great! -__- But here are some pix before the event...

Wave that Flag

Did you guys know that there's an amusement park near Cabanatuan? I went to Carron Dreampark awhile ago with my family and luckily there were only few people that time so I had a lot of time to take outfit shots and pictures together with my family as well, but that's too many to post cause I was cam whoring. Hahaha. Jk. But, here are some. :)

It's funny that my title is "Wave that Flag" and I'm not even American. Haha, But the title suits best with my outfit because of the USA print on my sleeveless polo plus I was wearing the flag's colors. Haha. But unfortunately I forgot to take shots of the details of my shorts so I can't show you the back part where the flag print is. :( :)

Dibuuuuh? Feel na feel ko yung bejeweled velvet purple couch and I actually want to bring it home! Haha! =)))) Look at my sister's epic face in this photo. Nyahaha. :P

All in all, this day was fun. Thanks for viewing. :)

RL Girl

I am disappointed because I don't have a decent picture during prom night last year and unfortunately, this year again so I don't have any pictures to post here in my blog. :( On the brighter side, I was able to take outfit shots of this street wear attire the day after prom. I was in love with my curls during prom night and yes, I curled it again the next day. Haha. =))

I like wearing shorts the most, because It kinda gives the illusion that my legs are long when the truth is it is not. (Yeaaah, tanggap ko nang maliit ako! :( Drama lang? Haha.) Anyway, I was about to go watch a movie that time so I think It was appropriate to wear 3/4 sleeves with my shorts, cause if not I'll be freezing inside the movie house. Haha. I find animal print cute so I used my leopard print flats and  bag. Plus it blends absolutely right with the color of my outfit, Pink and gray! Matchy matchy! ;)
